Napoli manager Walter Mazzarri has praised Victor Osimhen following the forward’s impressive display in the club’s win against Cagliari.
Osimhen was on target and also recorded an assist in the keenly contested encounter.
The 24-year-old opened scoring for the Serie A champions on 64 minutes.
“I am glad that he (Osimhen) and Kvara scored, because they were both looking a bit irritable. They needed to get back to being protagonists the way they were last season,” Mazzarri was quoted by Football Italia.
“I can’t blame the team for getting tense, as it felt like in the first half the goal was cursed. When strikers are not relaxed, they can make really simple mistakes.” READ ALSO:

The forward has now scored seven goals in 14 league appearances for the Partenopei this season.
