President of the Senate, David Mark and his wife, Helen yesterday sympathized with the First Lady, Patience Jonathan over the death of her mother, Madam Charity Fyneyaco Kalada, who died in an auto crash along Elele-Isiokpo road, Port Harcourt on Tuesday.
Mark in a condolence message to President Goodluck Jonathan, the First Lady and the entire First family said the death of Late Kalada was heartbreaking but, stressed that, “God gives life and take at will”.
He said, “This is very sad, it is indeed a great loss. I can only console our dear First Lady to take solace in the fact that Madam Kalada lived a life full of passion and dedication to the betterment of humanity. Her motherly counsel and encouragement would be seriously missed.”
The Senate President urged the First family not to be depressed but be courageous while praying to God to give them the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
On her part, the Wife of the President of the Senate, Mrs. Helen Mark counseled the First Lady and the immediate family of the deceased to strengthen their faith in God during this period of painful loss of their mother.
