Title rivals Manchester City and Arsenal battled to a 0-0 draw in a tension soaked encounter at the Etihad Stadium on Sunday.
The result left Liverpool two points clear at the top of the Premier League.
The two teams struggled to create clear cut chances in the game with Arsenal in particular putting up a resolute performance at the back.
City’s main man Erling Haaland was marked out of the game, while Kai Havertz and Gabriel Jesus came close for Arsenal with two half chances.
The result extended Man City’s unbeaten home record to a remarkable 39 games.
Manchester City will host Aston Villa in their next Premier League game on Wednesday.
Arsenal will host Luton Town in their next game same day.
