The Minister of Education, Professor Tahir Mamman, is participating on a panel discussion at Harvard Centre for International Development.
According to a statement by Director Press and PR in the Ministry, Boriowo Folasade, the discussion is focusing on scaling successful Education programs on Wednesday 18th of September 2024.
This event is part of the Global Education and Research: Unleashing Potential (GEAR UP) initiative, hosted by the Harvard Center for International Development (CID).
The panel will address critical topics like exploring strategies to recognize educational initiatives that yield positive outcomes and successful programs while ensuring equitable access for all Students. Ministers will present examples of past successes in their respective Countries.
Additional discussions may cover the integration of personalized learning into National policies, balancing personalization with scalability, the impact of big data on educational programs, and the potential applications and challenges of AI tools in Education.
Other panelists include Dr. Haja Ramatulai Wurie, Minister of Technical and Higher Education from Sierra Leone, and Dr. Torerayi Moyo, Minister of Primary and Secondary Education from Zimbabwe.
