Serie A giants, Juventus have announced the signing of Timothy Weah on a permanent transfer.
Weah, who is the son of Liberian President George Weah joined the Biaconerri from Ligue 1 club, Lille.
“Timothy Weah has officially become a Juventus player. The American arrives on a permanent deal from Lille,” Juventus said in a statement.
Juventus have also confirmed the figures behind the deal.
Weah joined the Old Lady for €10.3m payable in two financial years plus a maximum of €2.1m add-ons and €1m signing bonus for the player and his entourage.
He has signed a contract until June 2028.
Weah, son of legendary Milan striker George, will replace Juan Cuadrado who left the Bianconeri at the end of his contract on June 30.
The 23-year-old was born in New York in 2000 and has decided to play for USMNT. He has four goals in 29 international appearances.
During his time at Lille, Weah scored eight goals and delivered eight assists in 107 appearances.
