Following the intervention of President Goodluck Jonathan in the crisis rocking the Nigeria Football Federation, Stephen Keshi is back as Super Eagles coach.
The President at a truce meeting with the warring factions, Amaju Pinnick and Chris Giwa, ordered the immediate reinstatement of the coach.
Keshi was sacked by the Amaju Pinnick-led board after the Afcon qualifying match against Sudan at the Abuja Stadium. The match was won by the Super Eagles.
Prompt News recalls that President Jonathan prevailed on Keshi not to dump the Eagles after he won the African Cup of Nations in South Africa.
He therefore, expressed confidence in the ability of Keshi to qualify the Super Eagles for the 2015 Nations Cup.
