Head coach of Super Eagles Stephen Keshi has expressed satisfaction with World Cup play-off draws which pitched Nigeria against Ethiopia in the two legged finals.
Speaking with Prompt News Online from his home in United States of America, Keshi said the Super Eagles needed total concentration to ensure qualification for the world cup in Brazil 2014.
“It is not going to be a walk through the park for Eagles against Ethiopia but we shall approach them with all seriousness and see how it goes. All I am praying for is for all my players to be healthy and in good shape when we invite them for the first and second legs.
“We have met them before and it was not easy and I know it will be harder this time. They play good football and have good tactics. We shall play them as an old foe. We know them very well and we shall handle them appropriately” he stated.
He said the Eagles as African kings will want to be in Brazil for the world cup, adding that the Confederation Cup experience will help propel the players into giving their best to picking the ticket to Brazil.
The former captain of Super Eagles concluded by saying “the draw is favorable but it calls for hard work, dedication and concentration”
