By Gracious Akujobi The management of Kano Pillars is shopping for a technical adviser, the Chairman of the club, Abba Yola has disclosed.
Yola made this known while announcing the exit of Coach Baba Ganaru, saying the Board of the Glo Premier league champions had accepted his resignation which he officially submitted last Friday.
He however, lamented that the club would miss Ganaru who within five years of being in charge of Pillars won the league title two years in a row.
“We thank Baba Ganaru for the five years he has stayed with the club where he gave us two league trophies back to back.
“We would have loved him to continue but he has decided on his own to resign his appointment after the casual leave he took expired.
“He officially informed us last Friday, the board met on Saturday and we informed Government about the situation and they advised we let him go but that we have to look for a new Technical Adviser for the team.
“While are shopping for a new Technical Adviser. The two coaches who are there will take charge of the team until another TA is brought in.
“Thank God we have enough time to do this since the new league season maybe beginning in February,” Yola said.
