The Kano State Hospitals Management Board has promoted 1, 300 senior staff within its establishment, following the interview conducted in July for the year 2021.
Mr. Ibrahim Abdullahi, the Public Relations Officer of the board, stated this in a statement on Wednesday in Kano.
He said that the Director – General of the Board, Dr. Nasiru Kabo, had called on the promoted workers to brace up and discharge their official responsibilities diligently.
Kabo noted that the state government had prioritised the welfare of health workers by ensuring that their promotions were not delayed.
The D-G commended Gov. Abdullahi Ganduje’s administration for its commitment to the health sector and by allocating 15 per cent of the State’s 2021 budget to the sector. (NAN)
