The affected areas are Birnin Gwari, Chikun, Giwa, Igabi, Kajuru Local Government Areas.
Mr Samuel Aruwan, the state Commissioner for Internal Security and Home Affairs, announced this in a statement issued on Monday in Kaduna.
According to him, the state government also banned the selling of petrol in jerrycans in the affected areas.
Aruwan explained that the banned was necessitated by a “thorough review of the security situation and recommendations put forward by the security agencies”.
