The Federal Executive Council (FEC) virtual meeting presided over by President Muhammadu Buhari today (Wednesday) has approved the sum of N8.49 billion for the procurement of no fewer than 12 items in various quantities for the testing of Coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic by Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC).
The memorandum for the procurement was presented by the Minister of Health, Dr. Osagie Ehanire, on behalf of the Center at the Council Chambers of the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
Further details are being expected at the time of filling this report just as the State House Correspondents are waiting for the briefing by the representatives of the members of FEC.
