Apparently disturbed by the hectic schedules of members of the Fourth Estate of the Realm, the Press, a medical expert has advocated for regular medical checks by journalists.
This advice was given by Dr. Oluwajoba Oroge EHA Clinic, Abuja who was a Guest Speaker at the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) Correspondents Chapel, FCT, 2021 Press Week/Health Talks held at NUJ Abuja Secretariat, Utako.
Dr. Oroge urged journalists to always check their health status, pointing out that no matter how busy they may be it is better to take care of their health.
According to him: “If people can spare time to take their cars to mechanics for checks then buy service parts to effect repairs, why would a person not go for regular check up?”
Dr. Oroge’s EHA Clinic later carried out free medical check up on all the journalists present at the Health Talk.
