President Goodluck Jonathan will address the nation next week Wednesday, May 29 on the occasion of the two years anniversary of his administration.
The Minister of Information, Labaran Maku who announced this on Wednesday, said the President will use the occasion to present his administration’s achievements in the last two years.
“I want to announce to Nigerians that on Wednesday, May 29, President Goodluck Jonathan will be submitting a major report on the performance of the government in the last two years.
“The President is going to address the nation and he is going to give a blow-by-blow account of the achievements of this administration in the last two years in all the key sectors.
“It will be a major report and it will really be an opportunity for Nigerians to pay attention and participate in the programme of the President report back to the people. It will highlight ongoing development efforts,” Maku said.
He said that the Presidential address will be followed by ministerial platform where the ministers will take turn to also present their score cards to the Nigerian people. President Jonathan assumed office on May 29, 2011.
