Gabriel Jesus and Kai Havertz were on target as Arsenal secured a 2-0 victory over Brighton & Hove Albion at the Emirates Stadium on Sunday.
Jesus headed home the opening goal from a corner after half-time.
The hosts made the points save when Havertz slotted home substitute Eddie Nketiah’s pass in the closing stages.
It was Havertz fourth goal in seven games for the Gunners.
The win ensures Arsenal bounce back from last weekend’s 1-0 loss to Aston Villa while also capitalising on Manchester City’s failure to beat Crystal Palace on Saturday. READ ALSO:

Brighton, meanwhile, slip a place to ninth following their Europa League exertions on Thursday.
