Ahead of the second game of the double headed international friendly matches with Japan, Super Falcons are radiating optimism of avenging the 2-0 loss to their host in the first game.
Officials told Prompt News Online in far away Japan that the girls have been able to put the loss of the first match behind them and are raring to go and get a result this time.
“The girls have regained their composure after the loss to the world champions and now believe they can spring surprise. They are in high spirit after the chairman of the women league; Dili Onyedinma addressed them after the loss”
“She told them to brace up and be themselves and forget that the Japanese are world champions. She told them that the Japanese are beatable and that they would be making a big statement if they win or draw this game” the camp source stated.
The match will kick off by 7.15 pm Japanese time about 11.15 am in Nigeria. The team leaves immediately after the match.
