Super Eagles defender Zaidu Sanusi underwent a successful surgery on Monday.
Sanusi had the surgery on his left knee at a hospital in São Francisco, Porto, Portugal.
The surgery was done under the supervision of Professor José Carlos Noronha, his club FC Porto informed.
The left-back ruptured his anterior cruciate ligament in Porto’s league clash with Estrela da Amadora two weeks ago. READ ALSO:

The 26-year-old is now set for a lengthy spell on the sidelines and is expected to be out for around eight months.
Sanusi will return to action at the start of next season.
