**As Labour Party sweeps Presidential Villa

Following the rising incidents of stealing of the Biomodal Voter Accreditation System (BVAS) machines by hoodlums and attacks on Electoral Officers, Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), Professor Mahmood Yakubu, has said that security agencies have promised to rejig their strategy to curb the menace.
Yakubu who spoke at the 2nd Media Briefing at National Collation Center at International Conference Center, Abuja Saturday, also said that election has been suspended in 141 Polling Units in three Local Government Areas of Edo state.
He said election in Esan North, Esan South and Igueben LGAs will now hold on March 11.
In another development, Labour Party Presidential flagbearer, Peter Gregory Obi, on Saturday won at two Polling Units located within the perimeter of Presidential Villa, Abuja.
Prompt News understands that the two, which were available at the time of this report, are PU 021 and PU 131 respectively.
The scores showed that while Labour Party got 58 votes, Peoples Democratic Party’s (PDP) scored 32 votes and the All Progressives Congress’ (APC) received 31 votes at PU 021.
Also, in PU 131, Labour Party got 17 votes, PDP scored 03 while APC received 06 votes respectively, The NATION reports.
