Super Eagles Striker Kelechi Iheanacho and his England-based compatriot Frank Onyeka are expected to arrive at the team’s camp as Jose Paseiro prepares for a double-header friendly against Saudi Arabia and Mozambique.
The Former African Champions will face Saudi Arabia in Portugal on Friday before squaring up against fellow Africans Mozambique on Monday in what already looks like a busy period for Paseiro and his boys.
The latest update according to the official Super Eagles social media page reveals that top Stars like Victor Osinmhen, Alex Iwobi, Samuel Chukwueze and German League rave of the moment; Bayern Leverkusen striker, Victor Boniface are all in the camp and ready the coach as much selection headaches as possible.
Similarly, influential midfielder Winifred Ndidi, Ademola Lookman, Joe Aribo, Moses Simon have all arrived at camp as soon as it was opened yesterday.
Also, 22-year-old former Manchester City youth team product, Fisayo Dele Bashiru will hope to make his debut for the super eagles after receiving his first National team invitation.
Notable absentees include Nottingham Forest duo of Ola Aina and Taiwo Awoniyi while Jamil Collins also misses out through injury. They have since been replaced by Tyrone Ebuehi, Sadiq Umar and Chigozie Awaziem respectively.
Nigerians should expect a very strong selection as Paseiro is desperate to end a run of 6 games losing streak having fallen to teams like Mexico, Ecuador, Portugal, Algeria and Costa Rica in the last International Friendly games. As a matter of fact, the Super eagles are yet to register a victory in any of its last 13 friendly games.
After missing out in the 2022 World cup hosted by Qatar, the Super Eagles of Nigeria will commence its hunt for a 2026 World Cup ticket against the Crocodile of Lesotho on November 13th in Uyo. READ ALSO:

This will be followed by a trip to Harare to Face Zimbabwe as Peseiro’s boys will hope to secure an automatic ticket by topping the group that also has South Africa, Benin Republic and Rwanda.
