Taiwo Awoniyi claimed he has improved so much under Nottingham Forest manager Steve Cooper.
Awoniyi linked up with the Tricky Trees from Bundesliga club Union Berlin last summer.
The 26-year-old finished as the club’s top scorer last season, netting 10 times in 26 league appearances.
The Nigerian striker has already registered three goals in five outings for Forest this season.
Awoniyi praised Cooper for his role in his impressive displays for the club.
“He is one of the best coaches I have worked under,” he told Liverpoolfc.com.
“The way he goes about things, the way he speaks to players and the confidence he gives to the players.
“We had a lot of pressure last season but you could see in his eyes that he always believed. He knew we were going to stay up.
“That is what every player wants from their manager. He gives you the belief that you can really get to the peak of your career. READ ALSO:

“And I can tell you for a fact that I have improved so much.”
