A leading payment infrastructure provider that is offering comprehensive payment solutions to assist businesses, SeerBit has reiterated its commitment to building the right infrastructure to ensure that no one is disenfranchised in payment.
Founder and Chief Executive Officer of SeerBit Technology Limited, Omoniyi Kolade, said they have identified that there is so much fragmentation in the market chain hence, the need for financial inclusion.
Kolade, who spoke during a media parley at the company’s headquarters at Surulere, Lagos, said SeerBit is presently operating in 10 African countries while still expanding.
SeerBit, he said, has come up with payment solutions for the 54 countries in Africa, with 54 different currencies aimed at bridging the gaps within the payments ecosystem.
At SeerBit, Kolade said, “Our goal is to make businesses grow and keep growing. We are not just creating payment solutions; we are also ensuring that your businesses grow as well.
“We want to build a platform that actually supports everything that has to do with value movement in the market, and we build products to actually meet different stakeholders in different markets.
“We want to build a payment structure that connects in the market space so that businesses can scale, thereby improving the economy.
“This involves building the right infrastructure to ensure that no one is disenfranchised in payment. This means giving the customers several options of payment for the seller and buyer.”
He noted that the payment industry is characterised by fragmentation, which presents significant hurdles for businesses of all sizes.
According to him, “SeerBit is dedicated to streamlining this process and enabling enterprises to concentrate on growth. We have come up with payment options for these markets to ensure that customers are not differentiated.
“Our ultimate goal is to create a frictionless payment experience for both businesses and consumers. By simplifying payments, we contribute to the overall economic growth of the continent.”
Speaking on partnership with banks, the SeerBit Boss said: “A core thing that powers everyone is payment because it is the lifeblood of commerce.
“We are currently collaborating with financial institutions as part of our strategies as an enabler to bridge the gaps where banks have not really done well or where they require support.
“There are some limitations in the banks today. The opportunities they have not fulfilled, we’re doing that on a larger scale. Those opportunities are created by the banks and we require partnership to scale and help them in achieving set goals.”
Making a presentation, Uju Akinlolu, Product Marketing Manager at Seerbit said “We work with merchants of various levels, including Instagram vendors and build solutions for such merchants for proper collection to make sure their businesses are automated.
“We have a solution option like a payment link that they can share to their customers on Whatsapp or Instagram.
“We work with mid-sized businesses, they are much bigger in terms of their annual revenue. They are more open to technology.
“We also work with the big enterprises regardless of the industry. They’ve been in existence for years and have legacy systems and structures but desire skills.
“We have divided them into sub groups. We created a reconciliatory system, a single platform where you can manage all your business transactions.”
