Another Federal lawmaker is dead. Abdullahi Mohammed Wamakko, was a member of the House of Representatives, representing Aware/Wamakko Federal Constituency of Sokoto state.
He was said to have died at the National Hospital, Abuja.
Wamakko won the 2015 election under the platform of the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC.
“My heartfelt condolences go to the government and people of Sokoto state over the demise of Hon Abdullahi Wamakko.
“Hon Wamakko was a dedicated lawmaker who had the progress of Aware/Wamakko Federal Constituency, Sokoto state and the country at heart.
“As we mourn his painful departure, I pray that God will bring solace to his family and grant him eternal rest. Amen,” Speaker Yakubu Dogara said.
