A member of Nigeria’s House of Representatives, Hon. Oriyomi Adewunmi Onanuga, is dead.
She represented Ikenne/Sagamu/Remo North Federal Constituency before her death.
Prompt News reports that Onanuga, who served as the Deputy Chief Whip of the House, died following a brief illness.
The official X account of the House of Representatives, National Assembly confirmed her death on Wednesday night.
Rep. Onanuga, who was born in Hammersmith, London, to Nigerian parents, contested and won a seat in the House of Representatives under the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in 2019.
