By Usman Santurai Yola A pressure group, Adamawa Think Tank has enjoined Nigerians to be wary of those who are desperate to cause disaffection between former Vice President Atiku Abubakar and President Muhammadu Buhari.
The Chairman of the group, Barrister Danladi Dan Asabe, said, that the recent statement, that the former Vice President Atiku Abubakar was holding political meetings in Dubai, was just a figment of imagination of some disgruntled elements, who are hell bent on trying to paint the former Vice-president Atiku Abubakar black.
Dan Asabe, said, that it is not possible for Atiku Abubakar, who dissipated his energy and committed his resources that saw the emergence of an opposition party coasting success and emerging victorious to less than seven months of the administration to be thinking of 2019 and even strategize ahead of the election.
According to him, what preoccupied the mind of the former Vice -President is how President Buhari, would succeed in pulling the country out of the woes.
Barrister Danladi DanAsabe, opined that what concerned Atiku Abubakar, is to lay a solid foundation for the sustenance of an enduring democracy for the good of the people of this great country.
He further said that there are certain people, that does not wish the former Vice President well because of his dogged fight in the build up to the success of the APC in the last election.
Atiku Abubakar, he said is not over ambitious as to rock the ship of the present administration of President Muhammadu Buhari.
