Governor Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa state, has notified the State House of Assembly that he would be traveling to the United States of America for medical check-up, beginning from Sunday 13th to Saturday 29th December 2020.
Speaker of the House, Rt Hon. Ibrahim Balarabe Abdullahi disclosed this, while reading the Governor’s letter to the members tittled “Notification to Travel to the United States of America” during the House proceeding, on Monday.
“I wish to inform the Rt Hon speaker that I shall be traveling to the United States of America for medical check-up from Sunday, 13th to Saturday 29th Dec.
2020“.
Until his return, his deputy, Dr Emmanuel Akabe is to oversee the affairs of the state.
“Accordingly, in my absence, the deputy Governor would oversee the affairs of the state pending my return,” the letter reads further.
