Gov. Badaru condoles with Buhari, Nigerians over Abba Kyari’s passing

Gov. Muhammad Badaru of Jigawa, on Saturday condoled with President Muhammadu Buhari and the entire people of Nigeria over the passing of Malam Abba Kyari. Until his death, Kyari was the Chief of Staff (COS) to the President. In a statement he personally signed, Badaru described the late CSO as a man of “good character and great sense of responsibility, who has served the country in the best possible way.’’ He urged Nigerians to remain steadfast and not to panic as Kyari’s death should serve as motivation in the fight against the coronavirus pandemic via adherence to government’s safeguard measures. The governor prayed Allah to grant the deceased Jannatul Firdausi and give his family the fortitude to bear the loss.
