Gov. Hyacinth Alia of Benue has urged all leaders in Nigeria to tap from the wisdom of former Head of State, Gen. Yakubu Gowon (Rtd), and his peers for ensuring the country remained united.
Alia said this in a statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Sir Tersoo Kula, to mark Gowon’s 90th birthday.
The governor urged all Nigerians to unite and work diligently towards creating a resilient nation that future generations would be proud of.

“Considering his dedication and years of service to fatherland, as well as his clamour for unity and peace in the country, Gowon deserves all the good wishes and accolades from Nigerians and people all over the world.”
