Governor Abiola Ajimobi of Oyo state on Monday sent all members of his Cabinet packing. The dissolution affected all Commissioners, Special Advisers and Special Assistants.
A statement issued by the Director, Cabinet office, Dotun Omokemi, said that the decision was taken after the weekly state executive council meeting.
The Governor, the statement reads felt there was need to inject fresh blood into the administration in the quest to serve the state better.
Consequently, the sacked Commissioners and Special Advisers were asked to hand over to the Permanent Secretaries in their various ministries.
