Kwara State Governor Abdulfatah Ahmed has described the death of a former Governor of the State, Adamu Attah as painful and tragic.
Governor Ahmed in a statement issued by his Chief Press Secretary, Abdulwahab Oba also described the demise of Adamu Attah, who was the governor of Kwara State between 1979 and 1983 as shocking and a national lost.
Dr Ahmed noted that Nigeria has lost the wisdom of an elder statesman with the death of the former governor. “I also commiserate with the government and people of Kogi State over the loss of this illustrious son who contributed immensely to building a strong nation where equity and justice will reign”, the Governor said.
Gov Ahmed prayed Allah to grant the soul of the deceased aljanat fridaous and the family of Alhaji Adamu Attah the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
