Baring eleventh hour change, President Goodluck Jonathan is billed to visit Chibok on Friday before jetting out to Paris, France for a Summit on regional security.
A month ago, over 200 girls of Government Secondary School, Chibok in Borno State were abducted by the Islamist insurgents, Boko Haram.
The abduction has sparked outrage across the globe, prompting world leaders to offer assistance to help rescue the girls.
During the visit to Chibok, President Jonathan is expected to visit the school and inspect the extent of damage.
The Federal Government has also set up a Fact-Finding Committee on Chibok abduction headed by a former Director of Military Intelligent, Col Ibrahim Sabo (rtd).
From Borno, the President will jet out to Paris, France for regional security Summit. Some leaders of Nigeria’s neigbbouring countries are expected to attend the Summit.
