Award-winning actress and filmmaker Funke Akindele has expressed love and offered prayers for her friend Eniola Badmus after she shared her hopes of becoming a mother.
The gesture followed Badmus’ emotional moment at her annual charity event, where she voiced her wish to have children.
In the viral video, Eniola emotionally spoke to the crowd, asking them to keep her in their prayers as she hopes for the blessing of children.
“Please always mention me, Eniola Badmus, in your prayers. I’m waiting upon the Lord for children. With your prayers and God by my side, I will continue to serve you and work towards a brighter future for our community,” she said.
Following this, Akindele shared a video on her Instagram page on Saturday, praying for Badmus to be blessed with children.
“My darling Eniola Badmus, #leftyomoghetto has a message for you. God’s got you. I love you!! All your prayers are answered in Jesus name. Love you baby girl. check your DM for my account details!! O se (owo Adura),” she captioned the video.
Channelling her famous character, Lefty from Omo Ghetto, Akindele said in part: “You will have male, you will have female, you will be fruitful in the name of Jesus. The God that did mine will do yours too.”
Badmus, touched by Akindele’s words, thanked her friend for the support and encouragement, expressing how much hope and joy the message brought her.
“Thank you from the depths of my heart for your kind words and encouragement about my future. Hearing you say that I will be fruitful with children filled me with so much hope and joy.
“Your faith in me and your uplifting message mean more than I can express. Thank you for being such a wonderful friend and for always speaking life and positivity.”
