Fulham manager, Marco Silva has heaped plaudits on Alex Iwobi for his remarkable performance in the club’s away win over Crystal Palace on Saturday.
The Cottagers defeated Crystal Palace 2-0 in the London derby at the Selhurst Park.
Fulham moved to eighth position on the table following the win.
Iwobi set up substitute Harry Wilson for the visitors second goal seven minutes from time.
Silva praised the Nigeria international for his performance in the game.
‘For me, last season was the best season from him in the Premier League. I am sure he is going to be better this season, ” Silva said after the game.
‘I brought him to Everton and then had the chance to have him here in London at Fulham. It was a moment for us to go.
‘From the first week of pre-season I felt he was going to have this season. He has taken more responsibility on his back and is helping the team.’
