No fewer than 442 personnel within the ranks of Deputy Chief Inspector and Marshal Inspector III, have been promoted by the Federal Road Safety Commission (FRSC).
A statement signed by Mr Bisi Kazeem, Head, Media Relations and Strategy, FRSC, said it was in line with the commitment of the commission to reward efficiency and punish indiscipline in the Service.
According to Kazeem, “At the end of the last promotion exercise, 38 Deputy Chief Inspectors were promoted to the rank of Chief Inspector, while 80 Assistant Chief Inspectors got promoted to the rank of Deputy Chief Inspector.
“Also, 66 Principal Marshal Inspectors were promoted to the rank of Assistant Chief Inspector, while 77 Senior Marshal Inspectors moved to Principal Marshal Inspectors”.
The statement added that 85 Marshal Inspectors I were promoted to the rank of Senior Marshal Inspector, while 82 Marshal Inspectors II were promoted to Marshal Inspectors I.
According to Kazeem, 14 Marshal Inspectors III were promoted to Marshal Inspectors II.
Kazeem added that Mr Boboye Oyeyemi, Corps Marshal of the commission, urged the officers on efficiency and dedication to duty at all time.
