Determined to go a step further than her Round of 16 finish in the last FIFA Women’s World Cup final in Canada, Cameroon’s Lionesses are heading to China for an Invitational Tournament in the Asian country. Cameroon Football Federation (Fecafoot) has released a list of 23 players and a handful of coaching and support staff for the trip. However, a delegation from Yaounde which comprises 11 players from the Cameroon’s Women’s League are expected to leave Yaoundé this Saturday and will be joined in China by 12 Europe-based professional players.
