The First Lady, Patience Faka Jonathan has sent her condolences to the President of the Senate, David Mark, on the death of his sister, Mrs. Mary Onma Adakole and to the Oba of Benin, Omo n’Oba n’Edo Uku Akpolokpolo, Oba Erediauwa I, over the loss of his first wife, QueenEsther Erediauwa.
In a condolence message to the Senate President, Mrs. Jonathan urged the immediate and extended family of the Adakole and Mark families to be comforted by the good legacy Mrs. Adakole left as a conscientious, dependable and peace loving individual.
She observed that Mrs. Adakole memory will forever remain cherished and evergreen, especially among those whose lives she impacted positively. She urged others to emulate the sterling qualities of Mrs. Adakole.
In her condolence message to the Oba of Benin, the First Lady noted that during her lifetime, late QueenEsther Erediauwa and Eson N’erie of Benin Kingdom, performed her royal duties with grace and compassion. She stated that Queen Erediauwa “was indeed a great gift to us all, and would be greatly missed.”
The First Lady prayed the good Lord in His infinite mercy to grant them and their extended families the fortitude to bear the loss.
