Nigeria’s Super Eagles slipped down three places in the latest men’s ranking released by FIFA, reports Prompt News.
Previously ranked 32nd in the world, the Super Eagles have now dropped to 35th position in the world.
Although the Super Eagles remain among the top five teams in Africa, they slipped by one position from fourth to fifth.
The Indomitable Lions of Cameroon moved into the top five on the continent after their impressive performance at the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.
Jose Peseiro’s side lost their two friendlies in November against Costa Rica and Portugal.
Brazil remain top of the ranking, while newly crowned world champions , Argentina moved to second position.
