Nigeria’s Super Eagles have moved up in the latest FIFA ranking, spotting 41st position in the world now.
Nigeria moved up nine spots in the ranking released by the World football governing body on Thursday, garnering 686 points.
In last month, January ranking, Nigeria was 50th in the world when it got 619 points.
In Africa, Nigeria still maintains the 7th position while Pharaohs of Egypt are now the highest-ranked African team followed by Senegal, Cameroon, Tunisia and Congo DR. and Burkina Faso.
In the world, Argentina ranked first, followed by Brazil (2), Germany (3), Chile (4) and Belgium (5) hold on to their positions, while France (6, plus 1) move past Colombia (7, minus 1).
Nigeria’s movement in the world is seen as a good development despite not playing in the just concluded African Cup of Nations in Gabon.
