The three tiers of government- Federal, States and Local Government on Friday shared the sum of N1.25 trillion from the Federation Account for August and September.
Minister of State for Finance, Yerima Ngama, announced this at the monthly meeting of the Federation Account Allocation Committee (FAAC) held in Abuja.
A breakdown of the amount showed that the Federal Government received N236.15 billion, States N119.78 billion, while Local Governments got N92.34 billion for September.
For August, the Federal Government received N248.27 billion, States N125.92 billion and Local Governments N97.08 billion.
The Federation Account Allocation Committee (FAAC) comprises of the Commissioners of Finance in the 36 states of the Federation and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).
