The inauguration was previously scheduled to hold on Thursday, 30th and Friday, 31st May 2024, as announced when the list of council members was made public a few days ago.
The Director of Press and Public Relations at the Federal Ministry of Education, Folasade Boriowo, who disclosed this a statement on Sunday, apologized behalf of the Ministry for any inconveniences caused by the postponement.
It was also announced that the inauguration would be followed by a retreat for the members to acquaint them with their expected responsibilities and duties, in order to avoid unnecessary interference or clashes in the day-to-day activities of their respective institutions.
