KANO – The weekly Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting will not hold tomorrow, Wednesday, the Minister of Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed has said.
In a terse statement on Tuesday, Media Aide to the Minister, Segun Adeyemi, said the cancellation is due to inadequate time to prepare the documents for the meeting.
In a statement issued in Kano, the Minister said the two-day public holidays declared for the Eid-el-Kabir celebrations left little or no time to prepare for the weekly meeting.
Prompt News recalls that President Muhamnadu Buhari, attended FEC meeting last week, the first since returning from his long medical vacation abroad.
President Buhari is presently in Daura, his country home in Katsina state where he spent the Eid-el Kabir Sallah holiday.
