Earlier, Ogbeche solicited support from the FCT INEC to ensure adequate and proper coverage of future elections.
According to Ogbeche, there is need for continuous partnership with INEC to build institutional framework that will position the commission better for proper service delivery.
“The work of INEC is very fundamental, hence the need for the partnership.
“The 2019 elections gave reasons for us to review and interrogate the outcome, how INEC faired and ways of improvement.
Ogbeche commend the FCT INEC for doing well in the 2019 elections, adding that there were still logistics problems in some very remote areas in the FCT.
He said continuous partnership with NUJ would ensure that all segments benefit from INEC education and advocacy for elections.
