Sequel to the directive handed down to the security agencies in the Federal Capital Territory by the FCT Minister, Malam Muhammad Musa Bello, the FCT Police Command has arrested eight suspects involved in the Gwagwalada political conflict.
The unfortunate violent political clash on Saturday morning in Dobi Village, in Gwagwalada Area Council has claimed the live of one Haruna Adamu, in addition to the destruction of property worth millions of naira.
The FCT Police Commissioner, Mr. Wilson Inalegwu who made this revelation on Sunday said that eight suspects allegedly involved in the violent clash are already cooling off in the police net.
According to him, investigation has already reached advanced stage to unravel the remote and immediate causes of the fracas; stressing that all those found wanting would soon be taken to court for prompt prosecution.
Mr. Inalegwu warned that no stone would be left unturned in applying the law fully in order to serve as deterrent to anyone who may want follow the same barbaric path.
The Commissioner noted that normalcy has returned to the area and therefore assured the residents of the Federal Capital Territory that the security agencies are on top of the situation.
It may be recalled that the FCT Minister, Malam Muhammad Musa Bello yesterday directed the Security Agents in the Federal Capital Territory to fish out perpetrators of the Gwagwalada violent political skirmish.
The Minister equally directed that all those involved be made to face the full wrath of the law because nobody is above the law.
