Less than two weeks to the February 12, Area Council Election in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) Deputy Director, Ms. Chinwe Ogbuka has urged residents of the FCT to endeavour to pick up their Permanent Voters Card (PVC) so as to vote in the elections.
Ogbuka, who is the Deputy Director in Voter Education and Publicity Department, at INEC Headquarters, Abuja, made the call on Thursday, during a Voter Sensitization radio programme monitored in Abuja.
The INEC top official urged the electorates to be part of the electoral process, as this will enable them vote in the right persons to create good policies that will improve their livelihood.
She further asked residents to visit INEC Area Council Offices in the six Local Council of the FCT to pick up their Permanent Voters Cards (PVC).
According to Ogbuka to residents can collect their PVCs at the six Area Council offices. They are:
1. AMAC, Karu Round about by Children’s home and also at Area 10 FCT Office
2. Abaji Toto Road by FGGC, Abaji
3. Kwali, Along University Quarters
4. Kuje Sauka Road by FCMB
5. Bwari, Secretariat Road, around Action Estate
6. Gwagwalada Ubama Road, opposite Catholic Church.
