The Falconets of Nigeria will test their readiness for the 2024 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup with two friendlies against Australia and Mexico.
According to PNO Sports, the Falconets are currently preparing for the biennial competition in Abuja.
Head Coach of the team, Chris Danjuma said they plan to set up training camp in the middle of next month in Colombia ahead of the World Cup, which begins on August 31.
“We will train in Colombia for two weeks before the World Cup kicks off,” he said.
Danjuma invited 32 players for the training camp with the team to present a 21-player final squad for the World Cup.
The Falconets will face former world champions Germany, Venezuela and Korea in the group stage.
Colombia will host the 2024 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup from August 31 to September 22, 2024. READ ALSO:
