Mr Emmanuel Nwafor, the National President, Association of Social Media and Online Marketing Practitioners in Nigeria, has advised young entrepreneurs to embrace digital marketing to grow their businesses.
Nwafor told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Monday in Abuja that for their businesses to improve they needed to embrace modern business techniques.
Nwafor, also Managing Director, Alternative Adverts Ltd., added that for the entrepreneurs businesses to expand they needed to depart from the old ways of doing business.
“It is important for small business owners to embrace digital marketing as it will create an avenue for their products to grow.
“We know how difficult it is renting a shop or market space for a business that is just growing.
“This digital marketing is the easiest to develop, it is also easy to sell, as you can sit in the comfort of your home and sell your products to someone that is abroad.
“Young entrepreneurs should endeavour to have a working website and other social media platforms such as WhatsApp, Twitter and Instagram,” he said. (NAN)
