Marcus Rashford’s ferocious long range shot gave the Red Devils an unlikely lead.
The hosts however turned things around with Phil Foden equalising from a long range effort after the break.
The Englishman then put Manchester City ahead with a low finish.
Erling Haaland added the third in stoppage time.
The victory extended City’s unbeaten run to 10 games and moved Pep Guardiola’s side back within one point of leaders Liverpool.
