Head coach of Super Eagles, Stephen Keshi, has disclosed that the trio of goal keeper Vincent Enyeama, Mikel Obi and Emmanuel Emenike who missed the Mandela Challenge would be available for the World cup tie against Malawi on Sept 7.
Keshi said he would only bring a few players to join the squad that beat South Africa 2-0 in Durban last week, adding that he would not be experimenting with the Malawians.
He expressed optimism that the trio of Mikel, Vincent and Emenike would reunite with the team for the game against Malawi, in addition to some home-based players to fight for place in the team.
“I will send my list for the match to the Nigeria Football Federation today by the grace of God and I guess they will release it to the media after approval.
“We shall not take the Malawians lightly that is why we want all our best players to come for the match. Qualifying for the world cup in Brazil is our target and we won’t leave any stone unturned in an effort to achieve that” he stressed.
Meanwhile, the Big Boss has stated that the performance of the boys against South Africa has made competition in the team keener adding that it is good for the progress of the team.
