By Gracious Akujobi As the Super Eagles prepare to jet out of the country to Congo on Thursday night for the battle of Point Noire, Super Eagles captain Vincent Enyeama told Prompt News that he is optimistic the team will get the needed result.
“The important thing for us as a team is to go to Congo and get a good result. In football there are three results; win, draw or lose. Anything can happen but we want to get that three points at stake”
Enyeama who is happy for the return of Ikechukwu Uche in the team said it is a welcome development as they have prayed for his return to the team.
On his double nomination as CAF and BBC player of the year, the Lille Metropole of France Safe hands expressed thus:
“I feel happy about the nominations and I hope and pray to win too. But that depends on how Nigerians vote for me, if they all vote for me then I stand a chance to win it” he stated.
