Egyptian giants Al Ahly are interested in Super Eagles striker Kelechi Iheanacho.
According to English news outlet, Express, the multiple African champions are exploring the possibility of signing the Nigerian this month.
Al Ahly have identified Iheanacho as a potential replacement for South African forward, Percy Tau, who is set to leave the club.
The 28-year-old only joined Spanish club Sevilla on a free transfer last summer following the expiration of his Leicester City contract.
The forward has however failed to score or register in nine league outings for the Rojiblancos.
Garcia Pimienta’s side are reportedly willing to allow him leave on loan with an option to buy at the end of the season.
