The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) governorship candidate, Godwin Obaseki looks good to retain his seat as Edo state governor.
From the results declared so far by the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, Obaseki has won in 11 local governments while his arch rival, Pastor Ize-Iyamu, won in five (5).
However, there is apprehension that the results of the two local governments – Orhionmwon and Ovia South-West, being awaited could change the tally.
Already the PDP leadership, chieftains and Edo people are jubilating, awaitinga formal declaration of Governor Obaseki as the winner.
Prompt News reports that as at press time, the collation centre as gone on a three-hour recess. #EdoDecides2020
