By Gracious Akujobi A former Super Eagles coach, Samson Siasia has said that the Super Eagles will overrun their Moroccan counterpart if they up their game and play to the instruction of the coach.
Siasia, who led Nigeria to win silver at the Beijing Olympics in 2008, told Prompt News Online that all the Super Eagles needed was to explore the weaknesses of the Moroccans.
“Morocco have been doing very well but they kind of slowed down a little but I think they are coming back now. In this CHAN I haven’t seen Morocco play so I don’t know how they play at the moment.
“For me, I think we should not worry about Morocco, we should worry about our team. How we will play, how serious we are going to take the game tomorrow.
“They have come this far and I feel they have to go all the way to make sure they prove themselves and show other African countries that even if the league is not good enough our players are good”.
Super Eagles must win the game against Morocco on Saturday to advance to the Semi finals and an optimistic Siasia believes they have to follow the game plan of the coach
“They have to listen to their coach, the game plan has to be very good they have to exploit the weakness of the Moroccans to make sure they win that game” he opined.
